What are the admission requirements for the Online MBA Program?
- You must have a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Five years of progressive work experience and at least a 3.0 grade point average in your last 60 hours of your undergraduate degree. Students without 5 years of progressive work experience and at least a 3.0 GPA must submit official GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) scores.
- Two professional recommendations.
- Copy of current resume.
- Official copies from all post-secondary institutions you have attended.
- Statement of professional goals (250 words or more).
- Non-degree Seeking Students must submit an application for admission and proof of the conferral of their bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university.
- Non-degree seeking students may take a maximum of two courses or 6 semester hours before applying for degree-seeking status.

Are international students able to apply to the MBA programs at Saint Leo University?Yes. Applications from non-U.S. citizens are accepted as long as they are able to show a financial ability to pay, meet all of the
academic requirements for admission and have taken the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). On the TOEFL they must achieve a score of 550 (paper test) or 213 (computer test) if their native language is not English or if they have not attended an undergraduate institution whose primary language of instruction is English.

Is there a minimum GMAT score or GPA?Each applicant is evaluated individually. There is not a minimum GMAT score or undergraduate GPA established as an admission requirement.

What if my undergraduate degree is not in business?Your undergraduate degree can be in any academic discipline. Half of our MBA students do not have business degrees. However, if your undergraduate degree is not in business, it is strongly recommended that students enroll in one of our undergraduate foundation courses in economics, statistics, accounting, and/or computer applications through our distance learning program.

Is financial aid available for MBA students?Students in our MBA programs who are U.S. citizens and are degree seeking students may be eligible for Federal (Stafford) Loans. You can apply for financial aid online at

What does the Online MBA Program cost?Tuition for the Online MBA is $550/credit hour, $418/credit hour with military discount.

What specific computer requirements are there for the program?
Basic Technical Requirements
- A computer running a Web browser such as Netscape Navigator version 8.0 or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher versions
- 56.6 bps modem or higher
- An Internet connection (preferrably Fast Access Cable, DSL, or Satelite)
- Virus protection software (updated regularly)
- Pentium-based PC (or Mac equivalent) with at least 256 MB of RAM (512 MB or more is preferred)
- Minimum 100 MB hard drive space (1 GB is preferred)
- 32X CD-ROM (48X CD-ROM is preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite 2003 (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

How does an online course differ from a course taught in the classroom?The academic standards for the Online MBA program are the same as the Weekend MBA taught in the classroom at the University Campus in Saint Leo, FL. The course content and benchmarks for achievement along with the text books, assignments, and expectations for classroom preparation are the same for all of the MBA programs at Saint Leo University.

How are courses taught in the Online MBA program?Course instruction in the Online MBA program is delivered electronically through the internet utilizing tools such as e-mail, the worldwide web, bulletin boards, and CD-ROM.

Can I transfer courses from another graduate program?Yes. You can transfer up to six semester hours, if credit was earned at a regionally accredited institution, and if the credit is applicable to the student's program of study. The director of the MBA program, Dr. Robertson, must approve transfer credits.
